Do believe now that the recession has given racism a leg up? what I means is .... Does it really matter whether your black , white chinese and etc. Shouldn't performance be a factor in getting hired? have you ever filled out a form and it ask you what your color of origin is? Does that have to matter too. I think that racism will never be diffused in our society. I feel that a majority of us have a lot to offer to a business and because we are not what people are looking for as far as color..... we are put in the back of the files if not destroyed so to speak.
So if your phone is not ringing and you are completely confused.... Ask yourself is it me or my performance that wasnt enough to get the job. is the interviewer a person with issues with color, Did the interviewer have a bad day and just did not want to do the interview and just carried himself or herself in a way to make you want to leave? All of these things are a factor to look into. I feel that in regards to the recession, we should all as a people of any color or race be treated with respect and to be given us all a chance based on our experience and performance
